OrganoWood’s ennvironmentally friendly wood protection system has been specified by architects for many projects across the world for resistance to fire and fungal attacks. Through its proprietary technology which mimics the natural fossilisation process, the wood is modified by the attachment of protective silicon compounds to the wood fibres. The treated wood is protected without the use of both biocides and heavy metals which neither burn nor rot thanks to the OrganoWood® system. The treated wood keeps the natural colour but age and adopt a silver-grey nuance over time.
